The Review:A Broadway-style Bollywood musical! Anurag Basu experiments mixing Broadway into Bollywood and while it's entertaining for the most part, the story ultimately disappoints. However, kids will find it fascinating as it's mainly made for them.
Ranbir Kapoor makes the journey a fun one with his expressive acting and fun dace moves - a treat to watch him! In a movie where dialogue was key, Katrina disappoints with her weak Hindi. Saswata Chatterjee doesn't deliver as much of a memorable role as he did as Bob in "Kahaani" but the scenes with him and Junior Jagga bring a smile to your face!
Pritam's music and background score are a treat to the ears - beautiful songs with meaningful lyrics. A wonderful soundtrack!
Not everyone's cup of tea but it's something different and enjoyable.
