The Review:
Bollywood meets history, but Bollywood shines. For a subject as old as 2000 BC, there wasn't much for Ashutosh Gowariker to work with. The movie is as Bollywood as it can get without loosing its theme - it certainly could have been shorter though.
Hrithik's hard work clearly shows in every shot. Pooja Hegde's Bollywood debut is very Bollywood-ish. And every supporting actor does justice to their roles.
Rahman's music catches your attention throughout the movie.
The movie just doesn't connect very well.
