The Review:
A very dark and emotional story. The brutal reality of Sarbjit's life has been brought to the cinematic world beautifully by Omung Kumar. The movie isn't for everyone as some of the scenes are hard to digest but it contains a very strong message.
Randeep Hooda conveys Sarbjit's pain with perfection and leaves you speechless. Aishwarya Rai is unbelievably good - she makes you feel Sarbjit's sister's struggle. Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumar both have small roles but give excellent performances.
The soundtrack and background music are woven nicely into the script. "Salamat" and "Dard" are really soulful melodies.
A true-to-life biopic you don't want to miss.
