The Review:
An intriguing thriller! Based on the 2008 Noida double murder case, Talvar leaves you thinking about the law enforcement and judicial systems in India. It's a horrific tragedy, handled maturely via Meghna Gulzar's direction and Vishal Bhardwaj's bold dialogues.
Irrfan Khan is a class actor and his outstanding performance in this movie just proves that further. Both Konkona and Neeraj Kabi bring their characters to life and make the situations even more realistic. Also, the movie wouldn't be complete without the solid support from the rest of the cast.
Thankfully, all of the songs are situational and in the background, maintaining the steady pace of the movie.
Talvar is one of the few realistic movies which keeps you thinking.
