The Review:
A dark, intense thriller! Vishal Bhardwaj excels at adapting yet another Shakespeare play into Bollywood. Excellent direction and beautiful locations, in addition to the smartly adapted script. It's not made for everyone - those who loved "Omkara" will surely appreciate this!
Shahid delivers one of his career-best roles - simply superb! Tabu is the surprise package of the movie - just the right role for her. Same goes for Kay Kay Menon in his negative role. Shraddha Kapoor doesn't have a major role and Irrfan Khan has an extended special appearance - however, neither disappoint!
Just the right amount of songs at the right time - Bhardwaj gets the music department right along with the excellent background score! Shahid's dance to "Bismil" is a treat for the eyes.
To watch or not to watch? That is not the question to ask about this revenge story...!
