The Review:
A good attempt at remaking the original! Borrows the main story and a couple of dialogues from the original Zanjeer but the rest of the movie is unique. Apoorva Lakhia does an overall nice job with the direction and story.
Ram Charan makes a promising debut, however, it wouldn't be fair to compare him to Amitabh Bachchan. Prakash Raj is perfect as the villain... like always! Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra are underused but they are excellent in their roles. Atul Kulkarni and Mahie Gill are good in their supporting roles.
The music is a down point for the film. The songs are just okay - nothing too impressive.
This won't replace the classic but it's not a bad movie either.
